The start was at midday in Formia at 16 degrees Celsius. The route initially leads along the main road, slightly uphill, to Maranola.
From there, continue uphill to Santa Maria Infante. The village is quietly situated in the hills, with unobstructed views toward the coast.
After a short break, the descent follows directly to Minturno. A short climb leads to the old town, where you'll find some alleyways and the Roman ruins on the outskirts of town.
The return route is flat through the Garigliano plain, passing through several small villages to the sea. There's little traffic, open countryside, and pleasant conditions.
A total of approximately 62 kilometers. An easy tour with two longer climbs, varied scenery, and easily doable at a moderate pace.
